nifty

When I got my computer last fall, one of it's cooler features was that the monitor rotated 90 degrees so the screen was taller and less wide. Today I figured out how to rotate the image on the screen so I could actually read it when it was turned. It's pretty darn cool.

HA! I figured out how to do this on Friday night. Unfortunately my monitor does not twist and turn like yours, and i figurred it out unintentionally, and I was drunk, so it was very difficult to fix. I had to call kristie and she had to walk me through it. vry difficult.

What do you use that feature for? It sounds really cool, I just don't understand why you would want it that way...you know?

It's pretty cool for just about everything. Right now I'm working on a paper and I can fit a whole page of a word document on my screen. Even when I'm browsing the net, a lot of empty space on the sides of the page are eliminated.

When I was in high school we had a monitor like that--it was awesome when we were trying to layout newspaper pages (why, yes, I was a nerd). However, taht one flipped everything automatically when you flipped the screen. It was pretty sweet.
