Honestly, I'm glad it's over. It's great seeing everyone and giving/getting gifts, but it's just so darn much work. I came out of it with a lot of new stuff though.
My holiday collection:
The Office 2007 wall calendar
iTunes gift card
dress shirt
fleece jacket*
fleece hoodie*
fleece sweats*
t-shirt*
small suitcase*
Grey's Anatomy season 2
teakettle
coffee grinder
pillows
matted and framed pictures of my family
picture frame with a $100 bill put on display
All items with * behind them are olympic themed as my brother works for the US Paralympics.
Needless to say, was happy with what I was given. It seems like even though people say they're going to cut back I still got way more than I ever expected.
This upcoming weekend brings more chaos/traveling. I'm lighting candles at a friend's wedding this weekend, so Friday I make yet another voyage to the southern part of the state for the rehearsal/groom's dinner. Saturday is the wedding. Then Sunday I'm off to Rochester for a New Year's Eve party which promises to be a good time.
One of these days I might start looking for a job. It's on my to do list for tomorrow. Seriously, it is.

cuddles! what's your superpower?
It's true, I'm still alive!
Ok. First and foremost, I'm SICK of driving. I've logged something like 800 miles since last Thursday. Luckily, I have everything packed/moved with the exception of what still needs to be brought in from my car. My current location is Eden Prairie and hopefully will be for the next couple of days. This weekend I'll go back down to Dunnell to spend the Christmas weekend with my family...including my brother provided he can get out from under the 12 feet of snow they've gotten in Colorado Springs in the last 10 minutes. Tomorrow I'm going to run errands (more driving...yay!), hopefully have lunch with a friend, find a quasi-unevil bank and unpack. I might start looking for a job too. That should probably be higher on the priority list, but alas, it isn't. Friday will be a day of sleeping in and job hunting with the possibility of returning to southern Minnesota. We'll see.
Second, here's my seduction style. I needed to be cool like everyone else.
Third, if I don't make it back again within the next few days, have a great holiday weekend! Drive safe, drink responsibly and I hope the fat man in the red suit is good to you. Take care.

school's out forever!
As of 4:15 pm, I am no longer a college student. To be completely honest, it's kinda freaky. Now I'm just unemployed. Now I have to be a big kid and find a job. I've done some packing and will be making my first trip to Eden Prairie tomorrow. I like the idea of change until it's actually time to implement said change. Then I get a wee bit scared. I know it will all work out the way it's supposed to, but still. Luckily I have moving and Christmas to keep me sidetracked for a little while. So if you know any jobs that a fresh out of college, economics major with a business specialization would be qualified for, let me know.
Oh, and I'm jamming out to "All I Want for Christmas is You". Rock.

hee
I'm feeling pretty stellar. My paper of death is done. I have to proofread it, but that can be done tomorrow. It isn't due until 6 tomorrow night. And to celebrate my happiness, I'm posting this.
It'll give you a good laugh.

what a weird f'in day
Today started out well. I got to sleep in a bit. When I went outside to get in my car to make my way to campus, I noticed that at some point either last night or this morning, some jerk decided it was ok to scratch my car up and not leave a note or anything.
Good grief and goodnight.
