It's my very favorite day of the summer. Tonight is the all night softball tournament. Our first game is at 7:20 with games following at 10:35 and 2:15. There may be more games after that, it just depends on whether we win or not.
Not only is it a good night of friendship and drinking, it also is a fundraiser. Every year, the entry fees plus all profits from the beer garden help defray the medical costs for a person who really needs it. I'm not sure who it is going to this year but it will no doubt be a worthy person.
Most of tomorrow will be spent recovering. Maybe I'll rent some movies tonight to help me get through the day. Any suggestions?
